About Me !!!

Hi!!! I made this website! Now that I am going to write this about me section I'm actually not too sure what to say... I guess I should talk about why I created this site! I used to have a pigeon based account on the myspace remake that was on windows93.net (a very cool website that emulates a 90s style operating system if you haven't tried it by the way) and ever since it went down in 2021, I have missed my little pigeon themed corner of the internet
The second I realised neocities was a thing, I got super excited and immediately had a million ideas for what I could put on my site!! In the end though, I settled on the old faithful: pigeons

Another thing you should know about me is that I have been interested in programming for many years in one form or another! I have used a range of languages throughout the years, ranging from python to java, and now moreso towards frontend web development

Art Disclaimer!

Something else you should know about me is that I am not much of an artist or a writer, so I apologise for the quality of any of the art or writing on here :C I haven't really done much of either since I was in school, but I was inspired by the amazing work of everyone on here, so I wanted to give it my best shot :D I would definitely be happy to hear feedback from any of you talented people out there!

Games I like!

I definitely listed some of these in the hobbies section on the left, but here are some of my favourite games!

  • The Sims 4 (and recently Paralives!!)
  • Tamagochi Life: Living the Dream (I have been obsessed since it came out hehe)
  • Animal Crossing (I like New Horizons but Wild World is my fave :D)
  • Stardew Valley
  • Minecraft

Tools I used when programming!

Here is a list of the main tools I use while working on this site! All the tools listed here are free :D

  • Astro - This is the javascript framework I used! It is super simple to set up and is great for small websites like the ones you might find on neocities!
  • SCSS - added Sass to my project to get the additional features SCSS has in comparison to traditional CSS :D
  • VSCode - this is completely free to use and is designed for frontend development!
  • Pixel Studio - used this on iPad to for any of the pixel art I have made for this site!
  • Graphics - Any sites I sourced graphics from can be found listed on the links page :D
  • Chrome - this website is tested primarily on chrome although I do aim to use CSS available across most browsers!
  • I made this website on a laptop, so it is optimised for larger screens, but I do aim to make it reactive and test for the full range of screen sizes available in chrome dev tools!
